Dr. Bhaskar Rege

Bhaskar Rege, Ph.D. serves as Alkermes’ Senior Vice President of Discovery Medicine & Pharmaceutical Sciences. In this role, Dr. Rege leads the Research, DMPK, Clinical Pharmacology, Bioanalytical Sciences, Translational Medicine, Non-Clinical Safety Evaluation and Pharmaceutical Development functions.

Dr. Rege has over 25 years of pharmaceutical experience in multiple therapeutic areas and has led over 30 clinical trials. Before joining Alkermes as VP, Global Development Lead in 2017, Dr. Rege held several roles of increasing responsibility at Eisai Pharmaceuticals, including serving as the Global Head of Clinical Pharmacology and Translational Medicine. Prior to this role, he held various leadership positions at Bristol Myers Squibb, Seattle Genetics and Specialty Ranbaxy.

Dr. Rege earned a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Medical College of Virginia, VCU, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The Bombay College of Pharmacy.
