Mosaic Spotlight
As we celebrate Women’s History Month, Alkermes is thankful for the hard work and dedication of the many female leaders across our organization working to advance our mission.
Meet Pilar Vigil and Halima Norstrud, the co-leaders of Mosaic, our Employee Resource Group (ERG) working to cultivate a vibrant workspace where multicultural employees feel welcomed, supported and included. Mosaic is one of five ERGs at Alkermes that hosts employee events, networking sessions and partners cross-functionally, striving to ensure considerations related to diversity, inclusion and belonging are embedded across various aspects of our work.

Pilar Vigil, Senior Manager, Tradeshows and Conferences, recognizes the value of groups like Mosaic. “ERGs are a great way to network and build community within Alkermes,” said Vigil. “In addition to our internal work, we are also committed to contributing to our company’s goals when it comes to recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce.”
Halima Norstrud, Senior District Business Leader
Halima Norstrud, Senior District Business Leader, was driven to co-lead Mosaic by her commitment to inclusion. “I wanted this opportunity because I am passionate about reinforcing and supporting our company’s efforts to promote a diverse, multicultural workforce,” said Norstrud. “It is vitally important that employees feel able to bring their whole selves to work each day and that they feel welcomed and supported, no matter their background.”
Halima and Pilar are two examples of the countless female leaders at Alkermes who go above and beyond in their roles to strengthen our commitment to making Alkermes a great place to work.
