World Class Manufacturing

With our own 200,000 square foot R&D and manufacturing facility located in Ohio, we are well-positioned to support the development, launch and commercialization of our injectable products. This $150 million facility is responsible for commercial production of RISPERDAL® CONSTA® and VIVITROL®, as well as clinical scale manufacturing and commercial scale-up of injectable product candidates.

The production of extended-release products requires a sophisticated aseptic process and involves tremendous engineering expertise. Our Ohio facility has produced more than 20 million of vials of product, and has been successfully audited by more than a half-dozen regulatory agencies, including the U.S. FDA and the European Medicines Agency (EMEA).
