Richard F. Pops Richard Pops serves as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Alkermes. He assumed the role of Chairman of the Board in April 2007 and he previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Alkermes from February 1991 through April 2007. Under his leadership, Alkermes has grown from a privately held company with 25 employees to a publicly traded pharmaceutical company with more than 500 employees and two commercial products. Mr. Pops currently serves on the Board of Directors of: Alkermes, Inc.; Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc.; Acceleron Pharma, Inc.; Epizyme; the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO); the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) and the Harvard Medical School Board of Fellows. |

Kathryn L. Biberstein Kathy Biberstein serves as Alkermes' in-house General Counsel. Kathy has held many senior legal positions prior to Alkermes, including General Counsel and Member of the Executive Committee at Serono, Inc. in Geneva, Switzerland, where she built a worldwide legal department. While at Serono, she focused on defending and exploiting the company's worldwide patent estate. Kathy also held positions at Crowell & Moring LLP and the World Economic Forum. She received a B.S. from the General Motors Institute and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. |

Dennis J. Bucceri Dennis Bucceri leads the Regulatory Affairs department at Alkermes and provides regulatory strategy and guidance for development candidates and commercial products, and advises the company on government regulations, guidelines, policies, procedures and applications. Prior to joining Alkermes, Dennis held a number of roles in regulatory affairs, including a position as a commissioned officer with the U.S. Public Health Service detailed to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and senior positions at companies such as Sanofi-Aventis, AstraZeneca, Serono, Inc. and Genzyme Corporation. During his 30 years of experience in the field, he has been involved with the submission and approval of over two dozen new drugs. Dennis is a graduate of Fordham University, College of Pharmacy and is a registered pharmacist. He is a member of the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS), Drug Information Association (DIA) and other pharmaceutical educational and professional organizations. |

Madeline D. Coffin Madeline Coffin manages Alkermes' compensation and benefits, staffing, employee relations and employee and organizational development. Madeline has held a number of senior human resource positions at companies including Analog Devices, Inc., Sun Microsystems, Inc., Wang Software, Inc., and Bay Networks, Inc. Prior to joining Alkermes, she founded her own company, which focused on the strategic human resource needs of growing companies for clients ranging from technology to financial services. She holds a B.A. from Penn State University and a Masters of Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. |

Elliot W. Ehrich, M.D. Elliot Ehrich, M.D., leads the discovery, delivery science, research and development, project management and medical affairs functions at Alkermes. Prior to joining Alkermes in 2000, Elliot spent seven years at Merck & Co., Inc., overseeing the successful clinical development and registration of novel pharmaceuticals. Elliot is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and has had numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. Elliot was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Princeton University where he received a B.A. in Biochemistry. He worked as research associate at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg, Germany and later attended Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons where he received an M.D. At Stanford University, Elliot completed a residency in internal medicine and a clinical fellowship in the Department of Immunology and Rheumatology. He was subsequently a postdoctoral research fellow at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at Stanford University School of Medicine, in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. |

James M. Frates Jim Frates directs the Finance and Corporate Communications departments at Alkermes. During his tenure, Alkermes has raised substantial public capital and acquired the pulmonary drug delivery company, Advanced Inhalation Research, Inc. (AIR®). Jim was previously a Vice President in charge of the East Coast Life Sciences Practice at Robertson Stephens & Company, Inc. He has also worked in health care investment banking at Morgan Stanley & Company, Inc. and spent a year teaching secondary school at the Royal Shrewsbury School in the U.K., as the Harvard College Fellow. Jim currently serves as a national chairperson of the Association of Bioscience Financial Officers. Jim received a B.A. in Government from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. |

Blair C. Jackson Blair leads the business development and program leadership efforts at Alkermes. This encompasses all licensing efforts, new product evaluation, alliance management, and proprietary product development. Since joining Alkermes in 1999, he has served in various roles within the company in both a scientific and corporate capacity. Blair received a B.A. in Biochemistry from the University of Calgary, a B.A. in Chemical Engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of Alberta, and a Masters in Chemical Engineering Practice from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. |

Stephen King Stephen King serves as Vice President of Commercial Operations at Alkermes. In this capacity, Stephen is responsible for the development of commercial strategy for the company's proprietary pipeline and for the leadership of all aspects of Alkermes’ commercial functions, including the sales, marketing, managed care, strategic product planning and commercial analytics teams. He brings to Alkermes more than 20 years of industry experience and a proven track record of building the commercial operations required to support global brands. In prior roles, he has been responsible for the strategic oversight and leadership of some of the industry's most successful brands across therapeutic areas, including CNS/Neuroscience and Women's Healthcare. Stephen's experience includes both international and national product management and business development, while having been employed in senior positions within organizations including Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Inc., SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals, Forest Laboratories, Inc. and Cephalon, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Physical Education from Brock University, Canada. |

Michael J. Landine Mike Landine has led Alkermes' corporate development activities since March 1999. From March 1988 until June 1998, he was Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Alkermes. Mike is a member of the Board of Directors of GTC Biotherapeutics, Inc., ECI Biotech and Kopin Corporation, a developer and manufacturer of compound semiconductor components and miniature flat panel displays for use in wireless and consumer electronic products. Mike received a B.S. in Accounting from Bentley College and is a Certified Public Accountant. |

Rebecca J. Peterson Rebecca Peterson directs corporate communications as well as media and government relations at Alkermes. She has over ten years of investor relations and corporate communications experience in the biotechnology and health care industries. Prior to joining Alkermes, Rebecca held various communications positions at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Brigham and Women's Hospital. Rebecca received a B.A. in Public Health, Journalism and Communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a M.A. in Health Communications from Tufts University School of Medicine and Emerson College. |

Gordon G. Pugh Gordon Pugh assumes overall leadership responsibilities for the operations departments at Alkermes, including process development, manufacturing, supply chain management, HSE, information technology and corporate risk management. Additionally, he oversees site management for both the Cambridge, Massachusetts and Wilmington, Ohio facilities. Gordon has over 25 years of operations and manufacturing experience. Prior to working at Alkermes, Gordon served as Vice President of manufacturing operations in the U.S. and Europe at Lonza Biologics, Inc. Gordon received his B.S. in Microbiology from Cornell University, and his M.B.A. from Northeastern University. |
